Ensure you pay each toll invoice or overdue notice
Failure to pay a Toll invoice or Overdue Notice may result in a fine ($119 for each day of unregistered travel). More information here.
IMPORTANT: If your tolling account is suspended and you have received a Toll Invoice or Overdue Notice for unregistered travel on EastLink, you need to top up your account AND pay the Toll Invoice or Overdue Notice separately. Reactivating your account by topping it up will not cover trips taken on EastLink while the account was suspended.
Toll payment options to suit your needs
There are five main options for paying tolls:
-
Breeze tag accounts are a low cost option for using
EastLink and other tollways.
Breeze tags are an exclusive design, and work on all tollways in Australia. The Breeze tag account is a pre-paid account, and can be opened with a single opening payment of $40, even if you want more than one tag. Your opening payment will be a credit on your account. With no minimum annual usage fees for
car tags, why not get a tag for each of your
cars, and make swapping tags a thing of the past?

Breeze non-tag accounts are suitable for those who don't want a tag, including motorcyclists. Non-tag accounts only work on
EastLink and CityLink, and there is an image processing fee payable in addition to the toll for each trip made (from 1 July 2010 25 cents per trip on
EastLink, 75 cents per trip on CityLink). This fee is waived for motorcycles. The Breeze non-tag account is a pre-paid account, and will be available to be opened with a single opening payment of $40. Your opening payment will be a credit on your account.

EastLink trip passes are for casual users who will only use
EastLink a few times a year. One EastLink Trip Pass will pay for a single trip on
EastLink, in one direction. You won't need to specify a date for your trip, and you will be able to buy more than one trip pass at a time, giving you the flexibility to have a number of trip passes "in the bank", ready for use when you need them. Trip passes will expire if not used within six months and are not refundable.
