The Museum of Australian Photography (MAPh) in Wheelers Hill is now presenting five exhibitions in partnership with the international photography festival, PHOTO 2024. Addressing how the natural world is affected by climate change, Environmental futures encompasses photography, sculpture and installation both within the gallery spaces and around the museum grounds.

MAPh is very pleased to exhibit these accomplished artists from Australia and abroad: Edward Burtynsky, Janet Laurence, Corben Mudjandi, Sonia Payes and Lingam.K.

One example artwork from each of these five artist exhibitions is included below.

What's on

Catch the artist workshops during April:

  • In the school holidays, young folks can make a lenticular print with artist Sonia Payes. Details.

  • Later in April, older folks (16+) can learn the art of making a salt print with Lingam.K. Details.

Curator-led tours run every Wednesday and gallery-guide tours run every Saturday.

Community and education group tours are also welcome and can be booked on request.
